Run a launch-day checklist that can stop the release
Combine technical, policy, device, support, and recovery evidence into a defensible go or hold decision.
Define non-negotiable gates
List conditions that cannot be averaged away: the correct release file, working privacy and deletion links, the core flow, supported-device evidence, a recovery path, and an operator who can respond. One missing mandatory condition keeps the decision on hold.
Verify the public artifact
Compare the exact public file or store build with the reviewed candidate. Check the public URL, service worker, dashboard, QR, and linked policies. A successful local test is not evidence that the same bytes are public.
Prepare the first operating shift
Confirm who watches status, receives support, handles a privacy request, and can disable a defective feature or advertisement. Record the first-update time instead of promising an unsupported resolution deadline.
Schedule the next checks
Launch is the start of production evidence. Create 7-day, 14-day, and 30-day reviews for defects, user confusion, policy changes, performance, advertising quality, and backup recovery.
Release-ready checklist
- Mandatory gates cannot be averaged
- Public files match the reviewed candidate
- Support ownership is active
- Recovery and ad kill switches work
- Post-launch reviews are scheduled
